  Masthead:  For my magazine, I originally wanted to name it the "Eco Traveler" but that was already an existing name. I pondered synonyms for traveler, then came up with my idea: I have decided upon naming my magazine  "The Green Globe-Trotter"- I may drop the "The" so it is just "Green Globe-Trotter". I think this represents my concept well, since it is an ecotourism magazine and it will appeal to other travelers because of the fun name. I hope to have the font of the masthead in either green of white, depending on the photo I choose. it wouldn't be the most aggressive, vibrant green, maybe a little more muted so the photo is easily visible behind it.  Main Image:  I believe my main image on the cover will be an image I took when I was about to cross the bridge. I think it would be interesting since it would also represent a  journey  into the magazine for the reader, and it involves nice visuals too . Or I would do a shot I took on a bridg...

       I have finalized my idea for my magazine. It will be an ecotourism magazine, which falls into the genre of environmental and travel. I was inspired by National Geographic and Conde Nast Traveler. Ecotourism is a type of environmentally sustainable tourism, where the tourists do not leave a negative footprint on the place that they visit. Currently, it is increasing on popularity, and I have only found one magazine that completely covers ecotourism in a whole, while others just have smaller articles or stories on them. My hope is to highlight different activities, places to stay and restaurants to eat at that are beneficial to the environment while appealing to a younger audience. Younger travelers could determine whether some places suffer more from tourism impacts, so it is important for them to read and become educated about how they can limit their impact.
